In the Frontier, they CONSTANTLY refer to you as "the Courier" even if you have refused Courier-type work after being shot in the head, nor should they know who some random is just by looking at them. Nowhere in the main story are you ever made out to be someone you are not. (Independent, manipulates factions to acquire them as pawns)

Seriously, just play NV with a set of rules and you can get to the end of the game without someone superimposing your role in the story.ġ. Frontier's story is poorly written, its lore makes no sense, and you cannot roleplay exactly how you want. what I can't get in other games is the depth of story and ability to roleplay that you have in NV. what is impressive on the gamebryo engine is standard for any other engine that exists, I genuinely don't get the excitement around it.
I don't play NV for fancy scripted sequences or to see how many things can fit on the screen at once.
